When I saw this BCBGMaxAzria peplum jumpsuit during the ShopBop Fall Sale, I knew I had to have it. My only concern was the sizing. I purchased a Medium (the largest size they had at the time) and I crossed my fingers hoping it would fit.

I was very surprised at the fit.

I still have to get this jumpsuit altered especially in the pant legs (too roomy) and alter in the top at the sides (my post pregnancy boobs are gone – so sad).

I think this jumpsuit is a great formal and professional outfit in one. The fit is perfect, the material is wrinkle free, and minimal alterations. I would love to wear this to a business meeting or even to date night (when will that ever happen?).

Outfit: BCBGMaxAzria Peplum Jumpsuit (here)
Shoes: Mui Mui Criss Cross Patent Leather Platform Heels sz 7.5 (Ebay)
Bag: Chanel Classic Quilted Medium Caviar
Jewelry: Banana Republic Necklace and Jewelmint Bracelet

Keep an eye out for my next post on another jumpsuit. Unfortunately, it did not look as good and I had such high expectations for it.

I'm a mom of 2 girls. I struggled to lose the baby weight the second time around and by blogging my struggles helped me deal with a lot of the stress. During my struggles, I had random strangers ask me "How far along are you?" or "When are you due?" I was embarrassed. Most of the time I told them the truth, that I had given birth X months before. There were a couple of times I lied and said what they wanted to hear. When I was at a normal weight, I then struggled to find what clothes fit me. Everything about fashion went out the door and I had to re-learn what clothes and sizes fit my post pregnancy body the 2nd time around.

    Hey Helen!
What do you think about the plaid trend?? I was thinking about playing with a plaid jacket or skirt. The jumpsuit is nice. I think a two piece would be cuter on you. Peplum top with a pencil skirt or some skimmer pants. Love the site!! Keep shopping 🙂

LOL! Keep shopping should be my mantra. Yeah I think you are right that 2 pieces are better. The jumpsuit is cute but it is harder to get out of when you need to. 2 piece peplum would be ideal. I still need to find a good looking pencil skirt. Either that or lose more of the baby weight. My old skirts are too tight.

I’m still working on losing the baby weight and Emma is almost two! I’m going to start working out at home so we will see how it goes! I do like the jump suit though. I just bought a sweater from the limited that has a peplum that I’m going to pair with some leggings. Have you looked at old navy pencil skirts? They have it in a stretchy jersey!!

What a gorgeous outfit. It´s very elegant and slimming, you look very tall in it.
