I am not a skirt person because I feel like I am too old to wear one! I have kids who look so cute in tutus and frilly tulle skirts that they prance around. Are skirts able to transcend age?

I had purchased this BB Dakota Tulle skirt during Black Friday with the sale madness. But I never had a chance to wear it. It is worn high up and snug. This might have been a purchased based on “Oh the days, when I was younger…” Now I feel more mature but I still want to pull this outfit off. I had imagined myself dining out with girlfriends or wearing the flirty skirt to some fashionable party. Which I rarely get to do.
I like this blue and brown color combo – I think the skirt is cute!
I was just at a blog where the blogger wrote she hated wearing pants! HAHA and now you write you don’t like skirts. I think you always look great. Unfortunately, I tweeted LOFT and it appears the two toned colour blocked dress in my post today has sold out online… Oddly…I don’t recall seeing this dress online. In any case it was available in terms of a bounty at my local loft and through tmrw, all dresses and jewelry are 30% off 🙂
I had this conversation with my Chinese teacher months ago. She is 28 and loves to wear dresses and skirts. While I was always wearing jeans and trousers. I told her it was more practical for me to run around after my kids in pants rather than a skirt. The color block dress is still in stores, but I’m waiting for the 40% off everything to purchase it. Hopefully it’s before 04/10/12, because that’s when my $20 rewards card expires.
Loving the color of your skirt
Thank you! I kinda think it’s too short for me. It’s a little out of my comfort zone.
You look fabulous in skirts! You more than pull it off 🙂
Thank you so much!
