Day 1

The food is here and here is the break down.

Breakfast: Portabella Egg Bake and Papaya
Rating: Good size for breakfast. Delicious egg bake. I thought it looked bland but the portabellas brought a lot of flavor. And the papaya was sweet and juicy

Lunch: Grilled shrimp salad with cherry tomatoes and ranch dressing
Rating: pretty good. It’s what I would have ordered for lunch if I had Applebees. Shrimp had that grilled taste, not too seasoned but had enough taste and texture. Salad was browning a little in some leaves.

Snack 1: beef stuffed portabella mushroom
Rating: good but there was only 1!

Dinner: turkey breast with shallot sauce angel hair pasta and roasted red beets
Rating: portions are smaller than what I normally eat but surprisingly filling. Turkey looked dry but was juicy after heating it up. Pasta was a bit under cooked. Beets were tasty.

Snack 2: pineapple cheesecake.
Rating: pretty big piece. More than I expected. Good and not too sweet.

Overall I enjoyed the meals I had selected. One complaint- there were no heating instructions. I just guessed and hoped for the best.

I'm a mom of 2 girls. I struggled to lose the baby weight the second time around and by blogging my struggles helped me deal with a lot of the stress. During my struggles, I had random strangers ask me "How far along are you?" or "When are you due?" I was embarrassed. Most of the time I told them the truth, that I had given birth X months before. There were a couple of times I lied and said what they wanted to hear. When I was at a normal weight, I then struggled to find what clothes fit me. Everything about fashion went out the door and I had to re-learn what clothes and sizes fit my post pregnancy body the 2nd time around.
