On May 5, I have an out of town wedding to attend. Two weddings to be exact. I need a dress that is stylish for a day wedding and an evening wedding. The weddings will be an hour and a half apart from each other. So I need the dress to be wrinkle resistant and be light for traveling.
Dress: C.Luce Lovely Lady Dress (here)
I like this flirty little dress. I love the pastel pink color and the lacey, polka dotted overlay of the dress. It’s a dress that can be dressed up or down. In this outfit, I dressed it a bit more Rock Chic with the peep toe wedge booties from Zara (similar here).
Dress: C.Luce Watercolor Chiffon Dress (here)
What a dress! I love the colors and the Hi-Lo hem. I love how stylish it is. Now this is a party dress! Not only do I feel sexy and young, it’s pretty loose that I can eat all I want. (Have you been to an Asian wedding? These are both Asian weddings and they like to feed their guests.)
I am hesitant to wear this dress because I am not sure how wrinkle prone it would be. I did have to steam this dress to get rid of the packaging wrinkles. I don’t know how well it would hold up during travel and the commute from one wedding to another. Another mark against this dress is the poofiness of the chest area. It’s not that bad in the pictures but in person, it makes my chest area look like a pillow stuffing.
Which dress should I choose?
My suggestion to prevent the dress from wrinkling is to pack it individually in its own dry cleaning poly. I discovered this after travelling weekly that if I packed something in the plastic bag it didn’t wrinkle. I think both dresses are perfect for the wedding, I think it depends on which one you feel the most comfortable in!
Great tip! I will definitely try that!
Oh I love number two, it’s so beautiful.
Thank you! The second one is a keeper!
I loved the second dress on you (and the shoes), it suits you better than the first one (which is too sweet maybe?). It’s fresh and elegant 🙂
I definitely am wearing the second dress. I do like it better! Thank you for your suggestion.
