Striped Sweater + Floral Dress

Top: Madewell Theo Striped Sleeve Sweater (exact here)
Dress: Jason Wu for Target Floral Dress with Belt (just the skirt part here, similar here)
Shoes: Ann Taylor Perfect Leather Pumps (similar here)
Tights: Hue Criss Cross Diamond Tights (here)
Jewelry: Jewelmint Midnight Soiree Ring (similar here), Ann Taylor Loft Necklace (similar here)

It seems like overnight that Houston went from high 70s to low 50s. I had already planned on wearing my Jason Wu dress for work however with the change in weather, it was just too cold. I got lazy to change, so I added a sweater over the dress. I think I should have added a thinner sweater, but this Madewell was just too comfy.

I think I prefer this sweater over the J. Crew Honeycomb sweater. It is lighter weight than J. Crew’s Honeycomb and I like the striped sleeves. It has a youthful feel to it while J. Crew has a classic look.

Have you ever been too lazy to change in to weather appropriate attire?

I'm a mom of 2 girls. I struggled to lose the baby weight the second time around and by blogging my struggles helped me deal with a lot of the stress. During my struggles, I had random strangers ask me "How far along are you?" or "When are you due?" I was embarrassed. Most of the time I told them the truth, that I had given birth X months before. There were a couple of times I lied and said what they wanted to hear. When I was at a normal weight, I then struggled to find what clothes fit me. Everything about fashion went out the door and I had to re-learn what clothes and sizes fit my post pregnancy body the 2nd time around.
