Zara from head to toe minus a few accessories. My shopping spree to Zara struck gold. There were so many amazing items this season. I love the colors and the textures. Mostly, I love the feminine style. Previous seasons, Zara tend to strike me as more feminine menswear chic with their crisp, straight cuts or even to the other spectrum of boho with it’s loose fitting garments.

Wandering around Zara, I felt like grabbing everything up and taking it home with me. My problem now is deciding if they are all worth to keep. The pair of colored denim in this post is beautiful however I could not find my size, so I sized down. Even online, my size 8 is sold out. A size 6 or 38, fits but with a bit of discomfort. Either I lose a couple inches off my waistline or I can suck it in.

Right now, I’m totally leaning towards sucking it in.

The wedges are a sight to behold! I love the height it gives. However I hate the height of the shoes! Staggering at 5″ with only 1/2″ platform, I am walking slightly bent because I am still a newbie with heels. Right now, as I’m typing, my calves are aching from the workout. I haven’t fallen yet, so yippee.

Have you ever sacrificed comfort over style or vice versa?

I'm a mom of 2 girls. I struggled to lose the baby weight the second time around and by blogging my struggles helped me deal with a lot of the stress. During my struggles, I had random strangers ask me "How far along are you?" or "When are you due?" I was embarrassed. Most of the time I told them the truth, that I had given birth X months before. There were a couple of times I lied and said what they wanted to hear. When I was at a normal weight, I then struggled to find what clothes fit me. Everything about fashion went out the door and I had to re-learn what clothes and sizes fit my post pregnancy body the 2nd time around.

  1. I love the color combination in today’s outfit! The floral print mixed with the mint is absolutely lovely. We don’t have a Zara nearby but I see so many fashionable ladies rock their clothes. Maybe someday I’ll be able to visit one ๐Ÿ™‚
