Petite Fashion Challenge #15 – Chic Pin-spiration

April’s Petite Fashion Challenge is hosted by the lovely Megan at Long Live Classy. She has such a vibrant and fresh persona.

This month’s fashion challenge is:

Chic Pin-spiration– Find a pic of an outfit you love on Pinterest, and re-create it the best way possible!
Be sure to post the pic of your outfit inspiration in your post as well!

Check out my outfit.

My Pin-spiration outfit:

Pinterest by way of atlantic-pacific.blogspot.com.

Top: J. Crew Camp Shirt
Jacket: J. Crew Field Jacket
Bottom: Faux Leather Leggings from ebay.com
Shoes: Kenneth Cole Reaction Wedges
Handbag: BCBG Studded Leather Crossbody

I chosed this outfit from Atlantic-Pacific because I have similar items in my wardrobe. I don’t have an all weather military trench like Blair but I do have a field jacket. I do love how casual she makes the outfit yet it’s still polished.

Pinterest is so addicting. I can spend hours on the site and there are so many pictures that just pops out and makes me want every outfit. Thank you Megan for hosting this great fashion challenge. It was truly so difficult to find the right picture and make it one’s own.

I'm a mom of 2 girls. I struggled to lose the baby weight the second time around and by blogging my struggles helped me deal with a lot of the stress. During my struggles, I had random strangers ask me "How far along are you?" or "When are you due?" I was embarrassed. Most of the time I told them the truth, that I had given birth X months before. There were a couple of times I lied and said what they wanted to hear. When I was at a normal weight, I then struggled to find what clothes fit me. Everything about fashion went out the door and I had to re-learn what clothes and sizes fit my post pregnancy body the 2nd time around.

    1. Hey! Thanks for commenting. The outfit is comfortable. The faux leather leggings were a huge score from ebay for $8 bux including shipping.
