What a great week! My kids are at Summer Camp 3 days a week beginning this week and it’s been pretty quiet around the house till they get home around 3PM. My husband and I got to spend some quality time shopping together and dining at Cafe Kubo’s that have been open for probably 2-3 years. We never got a chance to go because we’re so busy. Things come up like kids being sick, or kids this and that.
I actually missed the Banana Republic Trina Turk event because of work- I was unable to get off until 7PM. I wasn’t too upset though. Also the event was held at the BR at Galleria Mall which is a good 30 minutes to get there.
I think I had really high expectations for this collection. When I saw the reveal online, it threw me off. There were some pieces I like, but majority was not what I was looking for.
If I had to pick up a couple of things, I would have purchased:

Yummy looking food and such pretty maxi dresses! Oh, it will be so interesting once my kids reach camp age. Not sure if I’d be overjoyed of them going or sad (more on the overnight type than the day) 🙂

Hi Krtisy! Both maxi dresses are from the Banana Republic Factory store. I didn’t get those dresses that day but came back a week later and that exact striped maxi was 70% off! Check your local store and see if it’s still available.
