What it’s like to be young and in love? It is a free falling feeling, like an endless all consuming fire. Time flies and you feel like you’re on a cloud. I remember those days like yesterday. Even with 2 kids and limited time to do things together, my husband and I always try to do something together. Even it’s inviting the other to go to Best Buy or Target. Those times just being by ourselves keep our marriage strong. We talk, we chat, we tell each other funny tidbits and stories we heard that day. Just spending at least 1 -2 hours alone is precious.

There minutes we snap at each other, but it doesn’t mean we do not appreciate one another. Marriage is by all means NOT EASY. Everyone has to work equally hard and we must support each other through thick and thin. No matter what.

What is so special about this dress? I bought it for my engagement to my husband. I was looking for a dress at Saks and my mother loved it! To this day, the symbol of this dress is to celebrate our love. What a perfect memory of love through an outfit.

After 7 years of marriage, our Valentine’s Day tradition is very simple: we just spend time together and celebrate our love for each other. That’s all that matters.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I'm a mom of 2 girls. I struggled to lose the baby weight the second time around and by blogging my struggles helped me deal with a lot of the stress. During my struggles, I had random strangers ask me "How far along are you?" or "When are you due?" I was embarrassed. Most of the time I told them the truth, that I had given birth X months before. There were a couple of times I lied and said what they wanted to hear. When I was at a normal weight, I then struggled to find what clothes fit me. Everything about fashion went out the door and I had to re-learn what clothes and sizes fit my post pregnancy body the 2nd time around.

  1. Your dress is gorgeous! I love DVF and you can still wear this for years to come. The style is so feminine..and do I spot more CHANEL???? NICE! Enjoy your valentine’s day!

  2. Awww I’m a V-day naysayer but what a cute post! 🙂 LOVE the dress — gorgeous shape and print, DVF would not have it any other way. And I am seriously jealous of the recent Chanel photo ops!
