Wow it’s June! I have been traveling double time in May. I had flown into New Orleans, early May 5th to attend not one but two weddings. A week later, I drove seven hours to Biloxi, MS. I did not realize it at the time, but I wore the same outfit in the air and by car.
May in the South is known for its humidity. I was born and raised in the South so the heat doesn’t bother me as much as the cold. I get cold very quickly. My husband on the other hand is a Yankee, from Connecticut. He lives and breathes 60 degree temps. For my trips, I took along my new favorite tweed jacket from Zara. I love the color and it is a great little coat.
Quickly becoming a new favorite is my Free People Chambray Red Road Trip Shirt. It is soft, a beautiful color, and has a flirty crochet back design. So easy to just throw on with skinny jeans, shorts, or whatever bottoms I’m feeling. Believe me, I can sleep in this shirt.

I love, love how you hair looks here! Pretty and not too hot for summer too 🙂
Loving that jacket and the hair is very creative! Good for travel indeed. 🙂
Helen, I agree with Katherine – such an elegant and travel friendly hairstyle! I also travel with a blazer, it’s an easy layering piece.
