First of all, I do not want to dress like a mom. Second, I want to dress my age. Third, I don’t want to spend any more money. (oh how impossible that will be).
I look to celebrities for fashion advice. Don’t you?
I don’t want to look look like a celebrity. I want to wear what looks cute and trendy.
Then the big realization dawned on me. Most celebrities have stylists and tailors at their beck and call. Even though clothing off the rack are meant to fit, most do not fit me completely. I have gaps by the arm holes, bunchy fabrics on the back, or just ill fitting jeans. You name it. It probably happened to me and to every one out there.
On Monday, I had posted a picture of me. No I’m not pregnant. But I have a pouch. I have been trying to find better fitting clothes until I work off this gut. It is very interesting to document my effort because it means I could help a lot of women out there.
I had picked up this LC Lauren Conrad top up at Kohls because of the cute bows down the sleeves. The breezy slits are a unique touch. It could be just me, but I had never seen a shirt like this.
My aim for this outfit is to hide the tummy. I did okay, but still in the first picture, there is the sightly hint of a tummy. No worries. I will try harder to find something more suitable.
