Springtime: Floral Romper

by dietingfashions on February 20, 2012

Romper: Joie Bergamont Floral Romper
Blazer: Ann Taylor Boyfriend Blazer
Shoes: Ann Taylor Loft Strappy Heels
Handbag: Louis Vuitton Speedy 25 (borrowed)

Joie makes fabulous clothes! I have been wishing for the Bergamont romper for over 1 year now ever since I laid my eyes on the midnight blue version of this romper. However at $300, it was wayyyyy out of my budget. Well when Haute Look notified me of a Joie flash sale, I quickly perused the site for basics. However this romper caught my eye and at $69, it was a steal! Plus I didn’t know the Bergamont came in the Black/White (Porcelain to be exact) color.

The material is roomy and oh so comfortable! Upscale version of my Forever 21 rompers. Too bad it doesn’t have pockets, but since the material is thin, it is better to dress it up with a blazer or even a cardigan. I think the next Spring/Summer Girls Night Out I have, I need to wear this out.

I’m already wishing for Spring.

What’s your Spring outfit essentials?

I love your romper!! The delicate floral print combined with the boyfriend styled blazer is a great pairing.

Re: Lauren Conrad quality. I personally haven’t had a quality issue with any of the shirts I’ve purchased from this line but I also usually handle any kind of non-cotton clothing with a light touch. I know that’s not terribly helpful 🙁 The good thing is that Kohl’s has so many sales, her items are usually pretty inexpensive.

I so adore your blazer. It´s the right piece to highlight your cute jumper. And you got the legs to sport this look well. 🙂

Thanks Glee. I love a good blazer. This one actually needs to go in for alterations. I purchased this Ann Taylor Blazer after I had my 2nd baby, so it’s about a size too big on me now.

Oh the romper…it was actually a piece my girlfriends had challenged me to style when I first started my blog…I never could find one that fit my price range and suited my style..and yes $300 for romper is $$$. Love this look on you, and what a great deal 🙂

Yes, the romper is a challenge, but this Joie romper was pretty easy because of the print and the material. I usually purchase my rompers at Forever 21 and they are plain jane. I normally wear those around the house.
