I featured this dress as a CRAVE: Polka Dots (here) a couple of weeks ago. I decided to go ahead and buy it considering the 20% off from Piperlime.com for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

After trying on all those BCBGMaxazria dresses from Hautelook, I didn’t know how this Polka Dotted Dress would look. I do like the chiffon mesh at the front and back yoke. This keeps the dress conservative yet hints at some skin. The cinched waist is right at my natual waist. It does not feel tight at all. The material is very thin although it is lined. It has hidden side pockets though not very deep.

I like how it looks on me but apparently even with the 20% discount, I eventually found it cheaper on Macys.com for HALF the price. Consolation: Macy’s doesn’t have my size. So I will be keeping this dress. I do really like it and I think I would regret not keeping this dress.

I'm a mom of 2 girls. I struggled to lose the baby weight the second time around and by blogging my struggles helped me deal with a lot of the stress. During my struggles, I had random strangers ask me "How far along are you?" or "When are you due?" I was embarrassed. Most of the time I told them the truth, that I had given birth X months before. There were a couple of times I lied and said what they wanted to hear. When I was at a normal weight, I then struggled to find what clothes fit me. Everything about fashion went out the door and I had to re-learn what clothes and sizes fit my post pregnancy body the 2nd time around.
